OUR ROOTS
Originally served to customers with sparkling water from the window of a food cart by Andrea Wade, Honeybee Lemonade Syrups hit the shelves in 2019. After a successful career working with students, parents, principals and teachers in a large school system for nearly a decade, Andrea was ready to use her skills and creativity in her own business. Andrea’s past includes owning a food cart in Portland, Oregon. From day one, customers found Honeybee Lemonade Syrups to be unique and crave-worthy.
Honeybee Lemonade Syrups are all-natural syrups, free from preservatives and added sugars. Working at food carts, street fairs and other special events, Andrea found that customers were returning again and again to try more Honeybee. It was the popularity and positive feedback during this time that inspired Andrea to bring her syrups to market.
MEET ANDREA WADE
Hello! I’m Andrea Wade, a single mother and the proud business partner of my dynamic 20-year-old daughter, who is brilliantly strong, exceptionally creative, and has a fabulous sense of humor. Together, we navigate both the challenges and joys of life and business with unstoppable energy and mutual respect.
My journey took me from the historical corridors of Southern University A&M in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where I earned a B.A. in History, to the vibrant campuses of Portland State University and Concordia University, where I completed my M.Ed and earned an Initial Administrative License.
My passions extend beyond the business. I am an avid flavor innovationist, an enthusiastic international traveler, a movie buff, and a lover of outdoor activities in the warm sunshine. I'm also deeply involved in researching and studying history.
Naturally, blending fruits to create new and exciting flavor profiles for syrups and drinks captures much of my creative time.
